Rhino Rugby Ireland and Leinster Rugby announced today that Rhino will become the Official Ball & Equipment Supplier to Leinster Rugby.
The agreement, running to the end of the 2021/22 season, further strengthens Rhino’s long-standing relationship with Leinster Rugby.
Rhino has been the Official Ball & Equipment Supplier to the domestic game in Leinster since 2012 providing official match balls to the Bank of Ireland Leinster Rugby Schools Junior and Senior Cup and all domestic league and cup competitions, but this new agreement broadens that remit further.
Following the announcement Barry Brennan, Director of Rhino Rugby Ireland, said: “Rhino Rugby is delighted to expand and extend its strong partnership with Leinster Rugby which has developed from supporting activity at grass roots level across the province.
“Leinster Rugby continues to go from strength to strength at every level throughout the province. This relationship is an excellent fit for Rhino as we continue to evolve our equipment range in line with the ever-increasing demands of professional rugby.
“We look forward to working with all involved in Leinster Rugby both on and off the field over what we believe will be another successful period for Leinster Rugby.’’
Speaking on behalf of Leinster Rugby, CEO Mick Dawson said, “The relationship we have had with Rhino Rugby is a hugely fruitful one that benefits the very grassroots that are key to our success.
“The club and the school competitions deserve the best support and the best of equipment and we are delighted to have once again agreed a contract extension with Rhino Rugby here this morning in that regard.
“But this new agreement is obviously about expanding that relationship further and using the range of Rhino equipment across the professional set up as well and I know that Leo, the coaching team and of course the players will benefit hugely from this new arrangement.”
